The three-day Sydney China Textile and Apparel Exhibition 2024 will open on June 12 at the Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Center. This exhibition is jointly sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce and Ningbo Municipal Commerce Bureau. The exhibition has 387 booths, with a total of 368 companies from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong, Fujian and other provinces and cities participating in the exhibition. The exhibits cover various types of needle-woven clothing, home textiles, clothing, socks, shoes and bags and other products.There are also major textile machines, automatic drawing machines, rapier machines, looms, water jet machines, etc.


At present, more and more Chinese textile companies are appearing on the stage of China Textile and Apparel Exhibition in Australia. It has become a consensus among enterprises that the Australian market is rich in business opportunities. However, in order to succeed in the Australian market, Chinese textile companies also need to formulate appropriate market development strategies and flexibly use various market expansion methods.

 

In this regard, Cao Jiachang, president of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, gave suggestions. He pointed out that currently, the fragmentation of foreign trade orders is becoming more and more obvious, and the same is true for the Australian market. "But small orders have their benefits." In his opinion, although small orders are not as profitable as large orders in terms of total amount, the average profit margin is higher. Once this is the characteristic, the profits brought by accumulating small amounts into large amounts are considerable. At the same time, companies are more flexible in the face of market fluctuations.
