First, let's look at ring spinning: Ring spinning is currently the most widely used and common spinning method on the market. (1) In traditional ring spinning, the fibers in the yarn are intertwined and connected, the yarn structure is compact and the strength is high, but because the twisting and winding work is completed by a single mechanism at the same time, the production efficiency is limited. The yarn has a compact structure and high strength, and is suitable for making yarn as well as various products such as weaving and knitting. Spinning pictures are as follows.

(2)Siro spinning, also known as double twist spinning, is called A and B yarn in China, and has recently been officially named Siro spinning. Siro spinning involves feeding two rovings with a certain distance between them into a spinning machine. After drafting, the two single yarn slivers are output by the front roller. Due to the transmission of twist, the single yarn slivers have a small amount of twist. After being combined, they are further twisted into a yarn similar to a ply yarn and wound on a bobbin.

(3)Compact spinning is a new spinning technology that uses an improved ring spinning machine. Compact spun yarn is characterized by very little hairiness, especially hairiness greater than 3 mm. It has higher strength than traditional single yarn, and while its yarn evenness is better, its thickness and fineness are also better than traditional yarn. The resulting fabric has good breathability and a smooth, even surface, making it ideal for high-end textiles. However, it is relatively expensive.

It has more bent fibers, lower strength, and poorer evenness, but better dyeing and abrasion resistance. This type of yarn is often used for napped fabrics, such as fleece clothing and sportswear.

(5)The two types of yarn have distinct structures. Ring-spun yarn is produced by twisting all the yarns together, resulting in a spiral arrangement of fibers within the yarn body. The fibers on the inner and outer sides of the yarn are not the same type. In vortex-spun yarn, some fibers form the core yarn, which runs parallel to the length of the yarn body, while others wrap around the core yarn, forming outer wrapped fibers.
